1.⁠ ⁠INTRODUCTION

The Dubai Global Youth Summit 2025 (“DGYS 2025” or “Summit”) is an international educational conference designed to bring together young leaders for competitions, discussions, and networking. The event is presented by the University of Birmingham Dubai in association with International Placewell Consultants Gulf and Social House Learning (Regd. under SMHM Services LLP).

By registering for or attending this event, you expressly agree to these legally binding Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”). Failure to comply may result in disqualification, removal from the event, and/or legal consequences.

2.⁠ ⁠EVENT ORGANIZATION & DISCLAIMER

2.1 Official Hosts & Organizers
   •    The event is hosted at the University of Birmingham Dubai, but the University bears no financial or legal responsibility.
   •    Social House Learning (SHL) (Regd. under SMHM Services LLP) is solely responsible for registration and payment collection but assumes no liability for personal risks.
   •    International Placewell Consultants Gulf is a supporting partner and does not assume financial, legal, or logistical responsibility.

2.2 Absolute Disclaimer of Liability
   •    None of the aforementioned entities assume any liability for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:
   •    Injury, illness, disability, or loss of life.
   •    Financial loss, missed flights, visa rejections, lost property, or legal complications.
   •    Accidents, emergencies, or any adverse events occurring before, during, or after the Summit.

3.⁠ ⁠REGISTRATION, PAYMENTS & REFUNDS

3.1 Registration Process
   •    Registration is exclusively handled by Social House Learning (Regd. under SMHM Services LLP).
   •    Participants must provide accurate and complete information. Any misrepresentation will lead to immediate disqualification without refund.
   •    This form can only be submitted by a legal guardian, school representative (for minor students), or parents, as per Indian laws.

3.2 Payment Policy (STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE)
   •    All payments are final and non-refundable under any circumstances.
   •    No chargebacks, cancellations, or payment disputes will be entertained.
   •    Failure to complete payment by the specified deadline will result in automatic cancellation of registration.

3.3 No Cancellation or Transfer Policy
   •    Once registered, participants cannot cancel, transfer, or defer their participation.
   •    No claims shall be entertained for event rescheduling or modifications.

4.⁠ ⁠TRAVEL, ACCOMMODATION & VISAS – PARTICIPANT’S RESPONSIBILITY

4.1 Travel & Flights
   •    Participants are solely responsible for booking their travel arrangements.
   •    Flight delays, cancellations, or baggage loss shall be the participant’s responsibility.

4.2 Visa Applications
   •    Participants must arrange their own visas. The organizers hold no responsibility for:
   •    Visa rejections, processing delays, or financial losses related to visas.
   •    No refunds will be issued in case of visa rejection.
   •    No claims whatsoever shall arise if a service provider fails to provide services related to visas, travel, or any other participant arrangements.

4.3 Accommodation & Liability
   •    Accommodation packages include twin-sharing rooms, subject to availability of rooms.
   •    The organizers assume no responsibility for theft, lost items, or hotel-related disputes.

5.⁠ ⁠CONDUCT, LEGAL COMPLIANCE & SAFETY

5.1 Compliance with UAE Laws
   •    Participants must strictly adhere to UAE laws and customs.
   •    Illegal activities, including drug use, alcohol consumption, disorderly conduct, or offensive behavior, will result in immediate removal and legal action.

5.2 Code of Conduct & Legal Action
   •    Participants must demonstrate professionalism and respect at all times.
   •    Any form of harassment, discrimination, or misconduct will lead to expulsion without refund.
   •    The organizers reserve the right to remove any participant deemed disruptive or unsafe.
   •    In case of a violation of the Code of Conduct, legal action may be initiated within the jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi, India, in addition to the courts of Dubai, UAE.

5.3 Medical & Health Disclaimer
   •    Participants attend at their own risk. The organizers assume no responsibility for:
   •    Pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, or health complications.
   •    Medical emergencies, hospitalizations, or fatalities.
   •    Participants are advised to arrange health/travel insurance.

6.⁠ ⁠FORCE MAJEURE & EVENT CHANGES

6.1 Event Modifications & Cancellations
   •    The organizers reserve the absolute right to modify, reschedule, or cancel the Summit due to unforeseen circumstances, including:
   •    Government orders, natural disasters, pandemics, or security concerns.
   •    No refunds or claims shall be entertained due to event modifications.

7.⁠ ⁠LIABILITY WAIVER & INDEMNIFICATION

7.1 Participant Assumption of Risk
   •    By attending DGYS 2025, participants assume all risks related to travel, participation, and event-related activities.
   •    Organizers, sponsors, and partners shall not be held liable for:
   •    Direct or indirect harm, financial losses, or legal claims.

7.2 Indemnification Clause
   •    Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless:
   •    Social House Learning (Regd. under SMHM Services LLP)
   •    University of Birmingham Dubai
   •    International Placewell Consultants Gulf
   •    All associated entities and personnel
from any legal claims, lawsuits, liabilities, or financial demands arising from participation.

8.⁠ ⁠GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
   •    These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of both the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and India.
   •    Any disputes shall be exclusively resolved in the courts of Dubai, UAE, or Delhi, India, depending on the nature of the dispute.

9.⁠ ⁠FINAL ACKNOWLEDGMENT & ACCEPTANCE

By registering for Dubai Global Youth Summit 2025, participants:
✅ Acknowledge that the University of Birmingham Dubai is ONLY the venue host and holds no financial or administrative liability.
✅ Understand that Social House Learning (Regd. under SMHM Services LLP) is responsible ONLY for registration and payments but has NO liability for travel, visas, medical emergencies, or damages.
✅ Accept that all travel, visa, accommodation, and participation risks are SOLELY their own responsibility.
✅ Confirm that they have read, understood, and fully accept these legally binding Terms & Conditions.
